Tulips Rustica

In this painting of red tulips I used a crackle medium to emulate an old fence and create a framed effect for the tulips. I am pleased with the results.

Trees in a Row

This is a 16" x 16" painting in acrylic. I painted the background first in the burgundy colour and then added layers of opaques and transparents to make the sunset like background. I rubbed back to the background to get the tree shapes.

Yellowstone Inspirations

These abstract textural paintings where inspired by a trip to Big Sky Montana and Yellowstone National Park. I took over 500 digital photos of the texture of the amazing landscape.
